Established in 1974, Burns Management is a full-service real estate asset and property management firm with responsibility for more than $80 million in investment properties during 1999. Our headquarters are in Albany, New York.

We offer a full array of property management services including accounting services from payroll processing to cash management and special real estate partnership reports. We also offer consulting in such areas as development, refinancing, management plans, marketing and leasing training.

James T. Burns, President

Mr. Burns founded Burns Management in 1974 and has been involved in the property management field for 28 years. In addition to supervising the management of his property portfolio, Mr. Burns does considerable consulting work for other property owners and investors on refinancing, development and management issues.

Linda A. Romano, CPM, Vice President

Vice President of Burns Management since 1991 and employed with Burns Management since 1982, Linda is responsible for the day to day operations of the management office. Ms. Romano is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) as conferred by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 1987. The CPM® is the most widely valued designation in the industry, and is only awarded after several years of experience and the successful completion of a stringent educational program sponsored by IREM. In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Ms. Romano is affiliated with BOMA (Building Owner Managers Association) and is a licensed Real Estate Person in New York State.
