James T. Burns, President
Mr. Burns founded Burns Management in 1974 and has been involved in the property management field for over 38 years. In addition to supervising the management of his property portfolio, Mr. Burns does considerable consulting work for other property owners and investors on refinancing, development and management issues.
Linda A. Romano,CPM, Executive Vice President
Vice President of Burns Management since 1991 and employed with Burns Management since 1982, Linda is responsible for the day to day operations of the management office. Ms. Romano is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) as conferred by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 1987. The CPM® is the most widely valued designation in the industry, and is only awarded after several years of experience and the successful completion of a stringent educational program sponsored by IREM. In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Ms. Romano is affiliated with BOMA (Building Owner Managers Association) and is a licensed Real Estate Person in New York State.
Peter Rosecrans Jr., MBA, Vice President
Peter is responsible for overseeing many of the day to day operations of the business with his primary focus on growth via new acquisitions, development and contract management. Peter brings over a decade of asset/property management and construction management experience to Burns, most of which includes founding and serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of a successful local, full service residential property management firm which specializes in serving residential properties, mixed use, and Home Owners Associations. Mr. Rosecrans maintains a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Nazareth College in Rochester NY, as well as a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate College of Union University in Schenectady. Mr. Rosecrans previously worked for Lockheed Martin in the project management field. His education, intimate knowledge of the local area, and broad depth of experience in the industry is a tremendous asset to the Burns Management team and our clients
