As previously mentioned, Albany is also home to the New York State Museum, but also the Albany Institute of History and Science, the Irish American Heritage Museum, and more. In the summertime, several incredible lakes are nearby to cool off, hundreds of miles of nature trails are available, and of course, the famous Saratoga Racetrack is open for the season. In the winter, you have plenty of options for cold-weather activities like skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, ice skating, and more! Albany is filled with endless ways to spend your days.
