Rum Balls
Holiday Rum Balls are the perfect sweet treat to bring to your party or family get-together. Simple to make, this delicious dessert has a small ingredient list and short prep time! Your ingredients consist of confectioners’ sugar, baking cocoa, vanilla wafers, chopped walnuts, maple syrup, and of course, rum! If you’re not a rum lover, no problem- this recipe is designed to be easily customized. Try out your favorite Whiskey, Brandy, Kahlua, or anything that sounds good to you! This is a no-bake dessert. Once you have all your ingredients mixed together, round them up into balls and stick them in an airtight container in your fridge. Let them sit for a day and you’re in for a jolly good time!
Cheery Cheesecake Bites
If you’re looking for an extra festive dessert, give this one a try! We love Cheery Cheesecake Bites because they are merry, delicious, and easy to make. All you need is cheesecake, whipped cream, and strawberries! Make your favorite cheesecake or buy one or two from the store (like we did!) and use a small cookie cutter to make individual pieces. The shape of the cookie cutter is up to you! Try round, square, or other fun shapes. Your next step is to create a swirl on your cheesecake with whipped cream and then cut your strawberry and place it top down onto the whipped cream. Add an extra touch of whipped cream to the top of your strawberry and you’ve got a jolly dessert. If you don’t like cheesecake, try out cupcakes or fudge pieces!
White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
Think of your favorite chocolate chip cookie and add a holiday twist! The white chocolate chip cookie is a delicious staple, but adding cranberry pieces provides a festive and yummy touch! You’ll need all the fixings for regular chocolate chip cookies: butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, baking soda, salt, and of course your white chocolate chips and dried cranberries. These delicious treats are perfect for your holiday get-togethers, or when you’re in the mood for something sweet!
Candy Bark
This easy-to-make recipe is a fan favorite during the holiday season and beyond! All you need to create candy bark are your favorite chips: chocolate, white chocolate, or strawberry, and then anything else you would like to include! We love to put walnuts, cranberries, and nutmeg or cinnamon in ours. Melt down your chips so they are a batter consistency, throw in the rest of your ingredients, and spread your mix into a prepared pan lined with butter! Let this chill, and once hardened, break it into pieces! This recipe is great for those who want to personalize their candy bark. Everything goes great with chocolate, so you can get creative. Chocolate chips with pretzels and M&Ms are also a big hit!
Holiday Bars
Chocolate chip cookies and brownies? Count us in! We love holiday bars because they are a combination of our two favorite treats! For this recipe, we’re adding in some red and green M&Ms for some seasonal fun. Start off by getting your favorite chocolate chip and brownie mixes. Once you have both mixed separately, and you’re ready to put into your pan, start with a layer of brownie or chocolate chip, and then add a layer of the opposite. Feel free to add as many layers as possible! We prefer to use a smaller size pan so we end up with a thick brownie! Put your mixture in the oven to bake, and about halfway through pull it out to add your toppings! While we love the red and green M&Ms for an extra festive touch, any of your favorite toppings will work! Once your dessert is finished cooking, allow it to cool completely before cutting into it.
